SHAHZIA SIKANDER @ TEACHERS' STUDIO INSTITUTE
Rhode Island K-12 art teachers, participating in the recent Teachers' Studio Institute at RISD, felt truly privileged to hear Shahzia Sikander on Thursday, June 28th talk about her creative process during a presentation scheduled specifically for them at RISD's Chace Center. Shahzia's presence at the Institute came about through the special efforts of TLAD faculty member and former Dean of Graduate Studies and Head of Printmaking Nancy Friese.
