During his sabbatical leave from RISD, TLAD Professor Dr. Paul Sproll was invited to submit a contribution to an edition of ARCADE - "a Seattle-based nonprofit that creates opportunities — in print, in the community and online — for sharing ideas about design, culture and the built environment." RISD's STEAM Club is the features editor for ARCADE Issue 31.2 Putting Art and Design at the Center of STEM. Professor Sproll's contribution is entitled "STEM to STEAM: Consequence's, Challenges and Opportunities of K-12 and Design Education". Included in this issue is also a contribution by RISD's President John Maeda entitled "Adding Art and Design to STEM". Articles from the print magazine will release online throughout the quarter. President Maeda's appearing on March 12 and Professor Sproll's on April 23.
