TLAD WELL REPRESENTED IN RHODE ISLAND ART EDUCATION ASSOCIATION'S ANNUAL AWARDS
RISD's Department of Teaching + Learning in Art + Design was very well represented at the recent Rhode Island Art Education Association's (RIAEA) 2015 awards ceremony and reception. Kurt Van Dexter (MAT '00) received the High School Art Educator award as well as overall 2015 Art Educator of the Year award and Paul Carpentier (MAT '97) received the Elementary School Art Educator award. Dr. Paul Sproll, TLAD, Department Head, received RIAEA's 2015 Distinguished Friend award.
