MAT (2001) Re-Photographs Homes

In the exhibition "Reframing Northampton: A Contemporary View of Howes Brothers' Photographs" photographer and MAT (2001) alumna Sara Lyons who is a visual arts educator at Four Rivers Charter Public School, Greenfield, MA and who is also a photography instructor at Greenfield Community College dug deep into the archives to unearth photographs of homes and their owners made by the Howes Brothers in the late 1800s early 1900s. Sara then rephotographed thirteen homes previously photographed by the brothers. Historic Northampton runs from September 8th to October 1st. Sara's website is saraklyons.com
