MAT Alumna is Art Educator of the Year

We are delighted to share the news that MAT alumna Amy Van Horn Weigand art teacher at the Paul Cuffee Middle School in Providence has been recognized as the Rhode Island Art Education Association's (RIAEAs) 2018 Middle School Art Educator of the the Year and very importantly also the 2018 Rhode Island Art Educator of the Year. Our congratulations go out to Amy for these awards that are so well deserved. Amy will receive the state art educator award at a ceremony at the National Art Education Association (NAEA) Convention in Boston in March 2019.
