Project Open Door (POD) is a college access and portfolio development program for teens housed in the Rhode Island School of Design’s Department of Teaching + Learning in Art + Design.

POD supports the artistic development of students attending public high schools in Central Falls, Pawtucket, Providence, and Woonsocket through free art + design programs and assistance with the college application process.

Project Open Door's Goals are:

To encourage teens to graduate from high school.
To provide teens attending public high schools in Rhode Island with opportunities to develop their artistic skills.
To help teens prepare to enroll in post-secondary education by offering guidance on college selection, applications, and portfolio preparation.
